MEET THE 2004 STAFF
Our incredible staff includes 12 of the most talented people!
Steve Kissell, Inspirational humorist, motivator and educator
Steve has been performing for 25 years at conventions, schools, churches, libraries, birthday and holiday parties. He also shares the performing arts of clowning, comedy magic, and storytelling. He is co-producer of Circus Magic Convention and the Kentucky Clown Derby.
PRINCE PUPPETS
For more than two decades
Jill Harrington has served as “head royal servant” for the castle quarters of Prince Puppets, Inc.; a multi-faceted performance team. Prince Puppets reaches thousands of children through school assemblies, festivals, church programs and kids crusades. Jill is also the director of “Metro Children’s Outreach” a special ministry to Pittsburgh’s inner-city children. This outreach provides a weekly Sidewalk Sunday School “Kids Kingdom Adventure” which ministers to hundreds of urban children. Lady Jill toils within the castle workshop crating handmade puppets (she is also responsible for fighting dragons and cleaning the moat).
PUPPETS FOR THE KING
This delightful family ministry reaches children from 1 to 101. Lou and Kris Rhoades share with a variety of musical styles, object lessons and of course their unique “live audience interaction” to teach the Gospel through puppetry. Kris is also the president of “The Well Ministries” and is editor of “The Well,” a publication of encouraging and inspirational stories and poems.
DEB and MARK MILLER
This dynamic duo combine a wide scope of ministry skills. Deb Martin is a fantastic face-painter, super storyteller, and lovable clown “
Spitunia.” Mark Miller is a great Gospel illusionist and wondrous storyteller. Their company “Perfect Occasions” has a wide variety of supplies for face-painting, clowning and magic.
DIANA VAROSKY
Diana
became interested in ventriloquism when she saw Mark Wade at a clown convention and the Lord laid it upon her heart that this would be a great way to minister. Her main puppet is “Zac” the dinosaur. Diana was a “quick learner” when it came to the art of venting. She has earned the position of Ventriloquist in Training
Program Secretary with the “International Festival of Christian Puppetry and Ventriloquism” hosted by “One Way Street, Inc.”

RHONDA D. RUDY
Rhonda is the founder of “His Hands Puppeteers” and is a veteran in children’s ministries. She is an accomplished puppet builder who specializes in puppet design and custom-made characters. In addition to her experience as a skillful puppeteer, she has served as vice-president of the Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers (FCP), Conference Director for the Eastern Pennsylvania Performing Arts Festival and as a workshop facilitator at several FCP conferences.

JOY P. CLEVELAND
Joy’s fascination with puppets began as a teenager with the “Crusader Puppet Company” in Maryland where she learned the art of puppetry and it’s effectiveness in sharing Christ’s love with others. During her college years, she continued as a solo puppeteer visitng local hospitals and nursing homes. Joy has experienced the benefits of using puppets in inner-city mission projects. She is co-director of “His Hand Puppeteers” and specializes in set design and puppet construction.

LENORA WILSON & STACY SMITH -
The dynamic mother daughter duo

Known for living out the Scriptures in their lives, Christian speakers, Lenora Wilson and Stacy Smith, bring joy and excitement to sharing God’s Word. As co-founders of "The Wonder House Unlimited, they share the love of God through laughter using clowns, puppets, illusions, storytelling and much more. Whether doing a full-program or teaching a workshop, these ladies will get you excited about ministry!

Lenora is a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she has coordinated the Children’s Fellowship, Vacation Bible School, and the Children’s Ministry Team. Lenora has also served as Technical Director of the church’s theatre productions and participates in the tutorial program.

Stacy, a former Middle School Bible teacher is now a full-time "family manager" and home-based business owner. While living in Switzerland and England Stacy served as a Sunday School teacher, Scout Leader and Religious Education Director. Now back in the USA, Stacy started "GEMS" - a ministry serving pre-teen and teenage girls.

"B.O.P." - Brothers of Praise is a holy, hip-hop dance duo featuring Brandon & Ryan Smith (Stacy’s talented sons and Lenora’s fabulous grandsons)

AND........SUSAN MEENEGHAN,
your FAM co-host

Susan has been writing, performing and directing creative ministry performances for almost 20 years. She has also ministered on staff as Children’s Director for several Pittsburgh area churches. Susan serves as local host for the One-Way Street Puppet Festival held in Pittsburgh, and is a co-host of the Festival of Arts in Ministry. Currently she is an event planner for Mars Alliance Church.
