WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS: Basic Face Painting - Deb Miller ($10.00) Learn the basics or “brush-up” your skills for painting beautiful faces Basic kits available for $25 - kits include: 1 type water-base paint - 4 brands water-base cake - 1 brand water-base liquid plus other goodies! Advanced Face Painting - Deb Miller ($10.00) Come and learn the techniques that have helped Deb win national face-painting awards. See the newest rage in face-painting! Advanced kits available for $35 - kits include everything from the basic kit as well as: a glitter/latex/and liquids set Mop & Broom Puppets - Jill Harrington ($40.00) Mops & brooms are more than just for cleaning your floors with! A super easy way to involve your audience to participate and learn. Students will make a mop and a broom puppet/ changeable faces/and costumes with accessories. (Bring sharp scissors/glue gun) Fun with Foam - Jill Harrington ($25.00) Make both a Christmas Tree and a Candle. Birds of a Feather - Moving Mouth Puppet - Susan Meeneghan ($35.00) Migrate over to this class and create a one-of-a-kind feathered friend. We’ll do the sewing for you and you add the embellishments! (Bring sharp scissors and glue gun) Basic Balloons - Robin Kelly ($15.00) It’s so much more than knowing which end of the balloon to blow up! Students receive a balloon pump and balloons to create simple but amazing sculptures. Advanced & Holiday Balloons - Robin Kelly ($15.00) You too can be a master sculpture! Students receive a variety of balloons and diagrams. In keeping with our “Celebrate Jesus throughout the year” a number of holiday theme balloons will be created. Magic Made Easy - Mark Miller (Bonus class - no fee!) Mark will give you hours of hands-on training that will make you feel like a pro. You will be amazed how easy you can master the “art of illusion.” Gospel Magic/Demos - Mark Miller (Another bonus class!) Mark will perform routines right before your very own eyes! Festival Registration is required to take Friday’s Workshops Additional Fees May Be Required for Supplies *A $10 Administration fee should be added to all reservations and class fees.*
Back Again! The Vendor’s Big Top will be OPEN during Friday’s pre-festival classes and again Friday evening from 7-9pm. Join us for a leisure time of early bird shopping!
